Welcome to this FREE tutorial on how to convert the Moth Whimsy & Blueberry Reverie patterns into a Coraline themed bag!
My Coraline bags are some of my most requested patterns. However, the process for making them is so similar to my pre-existing patterns that have already been released. It didn’t seem fair to me to charge people for the same pattern but with a different theme. And so, it is my hope that this free tutorial shows you how versatile the Whimsy and Reverie bag base is. And if you don’t own them already, maybe you will give em a go!
I appreciate you and your support so much <3
While this tutorial is free, this is mostly for people who own some of my paid patterns already! I refer to them a lot, so some parts may not make a whole lot of sense to you if you don’t own those patterns.
Included in this tutorial for FREE:
- Dragonfly applique pattern
- How to gather reference - design process tips and sketches
- 3 different ways to make the Coraline portal
- Yarn type and colours revealed
- Decoration tips - charms, ribbon, beads etc
Optional paid patterns:
- Coraline Squid Keyring Pattern
- Moth Whimsy Bag Pattern
- Blueberry Reverie Bag Pattern
If anything is unclear and you would like some help please message me @granny.jing on Instagram or pop me an email to [email protected]
